Publisher THQ Nordic and Swedish developer Pieces International have released the latest teaser trailer for their upcoming title Alone in the Dark. The new Alone in the Dark is a love letter to the original title that lets you experience a haunting story through the eyes of one of the protagonists. The latest trailer for Alone in the Dark showcases more of the in-game universe and also sheds light on the Dark Man, which fans of the original game will be well aware of. The new trailer for Alone in the Dark showcases beautiful and haunting environments that we will be experiencing when the game comes out. It also gives us a brief look at the Dark Man however the trailer is teasing more information for later today so hopefully, we will be getting ourselves a proper look at Dark Man and get to know more about him. In Alone in the Dark, we will play as either Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood. The game is a reimagining of the classic survival horror game where Psychological horror meets Southern Gothic.
The narrative takes place in the 1920s South where Emily Hartwood’s uncle has gone missing and she is now working with a private investigator Edward Carnby to look for him. Together, they both travel to the Derceto Manor, a home for the mentally ill where something sinister is lurking. Here, you will encounter strange residents, nightmarish realms, and dangerous monsters and ultimately uncover the plot of the rising evil.
