Green Man Gaming, Movie Games S.A., and Road Studio have announced that their upcoming truck simulation game Alaskan Road Truckers will be playable at gamescom 2023. This will be the first-ever hands-on of Alaskan Road Truckers and it will allow players to experience the extreme weather, unpredictable road conditions, and the ever-changing environment of Alaska’s stunning landscape. Alaskan Road Truckers promises that you will feel like a trucker and not a truck when you play the game.
Alaskan Road Truckers will be playable to all gamescom visitors at the Green Man Gaming Publishing booth located in Consumer Hall 06.1, Stand no. C-043. The game will be playable starting August 23, until August 27, 2023, at the booth. The new trailer for the game showcases more in-game mechanics that you will be using when the game comes out. Apart from driving around in the game, you will also need to perform various other tasks such as connecting the trailer with the truck, refueling manually at gas stations and if your truck gets stuck in mud or snow, get out and work with different tools to take it out. It looks promising so far and if you are heading down to gamescom next week, you will be able to try it out yourself as well at the Green Man Gaming Publishing’s booth.
Green Man Gaming Publishing took the publishing reigns back in January 2023 and since then, the game has made steady progress. In June 2022, the developer shared the first extended gameplay trailer for the game which showcases how the game works. The game was originally called Alaskan Truck Simulator and the name was only recently changed to Alaskan Road Truckers. Alaskan Road Truckers is slated for release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 in fall 2023. You can add the game to your PC wishlist right now.
