Ubisoft has announced the release date for the upcoming Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC. Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be released on August 30, 2023. Rayman in the Phantom Show is a brand-new and separate adventure, and it will be released for all Season Pass holders however it will be available standalone as well.

In the new Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC, Rayman is finally making his great comeback to team up with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach. Working together, all three of them are invited to the new place called the Phantom’s Opera network studio which is managed by the Phantom himself. If you have played the original game, you will instantly recognize the Phantom because he is the archenemy of our heroes from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The newly appointed Warden has asked you for help to boost the channel’s ratings.
Now you will engage in tactical turn-based battles to help him and create the greatest show ever. You will explore the Network and its various TV sets filled with Easter eggs and help the different crew members with different tasks. While doing so, you will defeat nearly all of the enemies found on the set as well in tactical turn-based showdowns. For ensuring that the ratings stay high, you will need to battle with style and explore the full potential of Rayman’s abilities. He will be supported by Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario, and the Sparks as he is coming to the game with his iconic costumes and weapons from previous titles.
To jump into the new content, you will need to ensure that you have completed the first planet of the base game, Beacon Beach so that you have a keen understanding of the game mechanics. This is not a requirement, but it is certainly better to have progressed in the main game a little before jumping directly into the DLC expansion.
