Remnant 2 Gwendil The Unburnt Boss Guide

Gwendil the Unburnt is an optional boss that players will encounter in the end section of Cotton’s Kiln in Losomn. When the battle begins, you will find that Gwendil stays up from a vantage point and uses the distance to her advantage. This is because she mainly uses her Grenades to attack you.

In addition to the Grenade attack, which is the main attack Gwendil relies on, you will also be facing ads that fight alongside her. To make things easier, it is best to navigate her Grenades but focus on taking out the smaller enemies before you switch the Gwendil.

The Grenade attack will explode and will inflict burning damage on the player if they get caught in the explosion. There are two ways to go about this. The first is to run away from the projectile, but you can do better if you shoot the Grenade while it is in Gwendil’s hands as she prepares to chuck it at you. This blows the grenade in her hand and deals damage.

However, this method triggers Gwendil to throw five more grenades in an attack called the Grenade Cluster. This attack becomes apparent when she leans back before throwing the grenades at you. You should be on the run just as you see the boss leaning back.

Defeating this boss gives you the following items:

  • Scrap
  • Alkahest Powder
  • Tome of Knowledge
  • 4x Lumenite Crystals
