LIAN LI Launches First Performance-Focused UNI FAN with the P28

LIAN LI has launched the world’s first performance-focused UNI FAN with the P28, a 120mm PWM fan available in white and black. UNI FAN P28 features a 28mm thick frame, Liquid Crystal Polymer blades, Fluid Dynamic Bearing, and 3-speed modes. These include quiet operation, balanced noise/performance, and maximum performance making the P27 geared towards performance.

Just like all UNI FANS in LIAN LI’s arsenal, the new UNI FAN P28 can be interconnected to create a cluster of fans capable of being powered via a single cable, and up to 2 clusters can be bridged with an extension cable. Users who want to add flare without sacrificing performance can add an optional Side RGB Strip accessory to the side of the fan. The main highlight of the P28 is the 9-blade design made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP), a much stronger material that is capable of supporting high speeds.

The UNI FAN P28 can achieve these high speeds without deformation for tighter tolerance with a fan frame of just 0.6mm. This is combined with an overall frame thickness of 288mm which increases the surface area of the blades and this in return, results in added performance. The UNI FAN P28 is also equipped with Fluid Dynamic bearings (FDB) for the fan motor which allows it to operate quieter and smoother. The thicker fan frame, sturdy LCP blade material, and the FDB result in a great performance and quieter operation.

UNI FAN P28 also ships with a controller which is magnetic, and you can attach it anywhere inside the case and use it to switch between 3 different speed profiles. The L mode offers quieter operations, the M mode offers the perfect balance of noise and performance while the H mode aims for maximum performance without worrying about the noise levels. If you want more than one UNI FAN P28, you can interlock and daisy-chain them together to create clusters of fans that can be operated with just one cable.

This not only reduces the number of cables inside the system but the P28 also comes with removable interlocking keys to improve compatibility with radiator fittings, and support for an extension cable to bridge two clusters of fans (up to 6 fans max) to a single controller which further reduces cable clutter inside your system. If you love RGB, the UNI FAN P28 also has an optional Side RGB Kit which can replace the side aluminum strip. This strip can be added to a single side of the fan, or both, and is powered via a standard 5V ARGB cable and it can also be daisy-chained seamlessly like the fans.

The LIAN LI UNI FAN P28 is now available for pre-order and you can get it from AliExpress, NEWEGG, Caseking, and Overclockers UK. Additional details are available on the official website. Previously, LIAN LI released the UNI FAN SL INFINITY 140 and the UNI FAN SL120 V2 and SL140 V2.
