Microsoft has announced the upcoming Games with Gold for May 2019 and it features a very diverse range of games. This May, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will nab four free games just like every other month.
The free games for Xbox One include Marooners and The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour. The free games for Xbox 360 and Xbox One included are Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon and Comic Jumper both of which are decent titles of their time. EDF: Insect Armageddon comes at a good time because the latest title in the franchise Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain came out a little time ago.
The availability window for all Games with Gold for May 2019 is:
- Marooners – May 1 – 31
- The Golf Club 2 Featuring PGA Tour – May 16 – June 15
- Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon – May 1 – 15
- Comic Jumper – May 16 – 31
Marooners allows 6 players to play together in one of the best couch or online party games. The game features 25 different mini-games where players will fight with each other for dominance. The game changes mini-game randomly which keeps the fun and the challenge alive.
The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour is a solid game if you are a fan of golf. It is an officially licensed PGA Tour game which means it comes with an authentic PGA Tour Career mode which features some of the most iconic golfing locations from around the world.
Locations included in the game are TPC Boston, TPC Sawgrass and many more featured in the Fed Ex Cup. The game offers a delicate balance between simulation and arcade which allows players of every skill level to enjoy the game.
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon will put you in the shoes of the last force responsible to secure earth from an invasion of thousands of aliens and giant insects. The game features around 300 weapons, jetpacks and tactical armor options for use in the battle and to send back the aliens and the giant insects back to where they came from.
Comic Jumper is a very unique title as it features Captain Smiley who must do everything to save his poorly selling title. He must work as an author for hire so that he can earn money by fixing problems in comic books written by others. Players will be able to experience different genres of comics in the game ranging from Fantasy, Manga, Modern and more.
