Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Games with Gold for August 2021 and it seems like players will have a lot to do this month. Just like all previous months, you have four games for August 2021 as well however each game caters to a different market and will surely keep a player busy for a long time if they love playing different genres.
Xbox Games for Gold for August 2021 include:
- Darksiders III – August 1 to 31, 2021
- Yooka-Laylee – August 16 to September 15, 2021
- Lost Planet 3 – August 1 to 15, 2021
- Garou: Mark of the Wolves – August 16 to 31, 2021
Darksiders III is the third title in the Darksiders franchise and the first one to feature the third Horseman of Apocalypse, the Fury. Fury is the only sister of the Three Horsemen of Apocalypse and in the game, you will follow her journey as she travels to defeat the Seven Deadly Sins. The game features an open-ended living world, and you will have plenty of skills and abilities to kill your enemies including your whip and magic.
Yooka-Laylee is a colorful platforming adventure where you follow the beautiful journey of Yooka and Laylee as they traverse through a huge world to thwart the corporate villain, Capital B. Capital B is planning to absorb all of the world’s literature however it is up to Yooka and Laylee to defeat him and his evil plans.
Lost Planet 3 was released back on Xbox 360, and it is a prequel to the events of Lost Planet and Lost Planet 2. In the game, you will dive deeper into the history of the Lost Planet universe. You will step in the shoes of Jim Peyton who reveals the hidden truths within the environments of E.D.N. III. It is a singleplayer, campaign-focused title.
The final title is Garou: Mark of the Wolves and it is the final entry in the iconic Fatal Fury series. The game features over a dozen unique fighters to choose from and participate in the King of Fighters: Maximum Mayhem Tournament. The game features the T.O.P fighting system and a defense and counter mechanic to help you defeat your enemies.
If you still have to add the previous month’s titles to your collection, you only have two days left. Two of the August 2021 titles will arrive on August 16 so you still have time to add the other two and even play them before the new titles arrive on Sunday.
