Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire DLC Available for Free on Steam

Max Payne 3 Steam

If you have following the little drama happening with Rockstar Games and Steam last night, then you would know that all Rockstar titles were pulled for sale from Steam last night despite coming back after a short time. On their return, players found out that some of the titles previously not available for sale on Steam were back, and afterward, Rockstar issued an update that made all DLC for Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire free.

Their DLCs are now part of the base game and if you purchase the base game now, you will automatically get all of the DLC for both titles now for free. There are no separate pages for DLCs of both titles now after the store upgrade. Another surprise after the return of the games was that Midnight Club 2 came back for sale on the store after having been removed from the game sale years ago. Some of the players even managed to buy the game and add it to their library however it is now removed for sale.

The description of the base version of L.A. Noire now has this added at the end:

This complete edition of L.A. Noire includes the complete original game and all previously released downloadable content including the “Nicolson Electroplating” Arson case, the “Reefer Madness” Vice case, “The Consul’s Car” Traffic case, “The Naked City” Vice case and “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case.

There is no separate note for Max Payne 3 however the base game now includes all of the DLC and if you already own the base game, you have access to all of the DLC of the game for free as well. This goes for both L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3. Both of the games are pretty old and chances are that you already own them both including their DLCs but if you do not own any of them, you will now have access to all of the game’s content with the base game.

Are you looking forward to jumping back in L.A. Noire or Max Payne 3 to give the free DLC a spin on Steam? Let us know in the comments section below.
