Private Division Has Announced a Publishing Partnership with Game Freak

Private Division has announced a publishing partnership with Game Freak, the Japanese development company that is known for its Pokemon franchise games. Private Division and Game Freak will work together to publish a new title which is currently named Project Bloom. It will be an action-adventure IP and the developers will reveal additional details about the project in the coming weeks and months.

Game Freak has so far created more than 30 entries in the Pokemon franchise, and it is considered one of the best-selling game series of all time. Private Division is a publishing label of Take-Two Software and will be working alongside Game Freak for all of the publishing work on Project Bloom. To celebrate the announcement, the developers have released the first concept art for Project Bloom as well. Check it out below:

This is certainly a unique partnership and one that literally no one anticipated to happen. Private Division has tons of amazing titles under its publishing label such as the Kerbal Space Program franchise, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from Panache Digital Games, The Outer Worlds from Obsidian Entertainment, OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome from Roll7, After Us from Piccolo Studio, and more. Currently, the publisher is working with a lot of developers on various projects such as Moon Studios, Evening Star, Yellow Brick Games, Wētā Workshop, and more.

As of now, Project Bloom is in early development stages and the developers have not shared any further information about it. There is no word on any sort of release date or window as well. The official press release however states that the game is expected to launch during Take-Two’s Fiscal Year 2026. Both the developer and the publisher are promising additional details about the project soon and we cannot wait to learn more about the project as well.
