Nacon and Big Bad Wolf Studio have just released a new Vampire The Masquerade Swansong gameplay trailer as the game is just two months away from release. The trailer gives us a look at the unprecedented crisis that is lashing the Boston vampire community.

Mysterious assassins have attacked the Boston Camarilla – a secret society comprising most of the vampires in the city. Galeb Bazory, Emem Louis and Leysha are tasked by Hazel Iversen with learning the identity of the attackers as well as the motives underlying the large-scale attack. The orders are simple: infiltrate, investigate and get answers, using supernatural powers if necessary.
As the game revolves around investigation, you will visit various locations in search for clues, solve puzzles, and interact with several characters in order to progress in the game’s story. However, similar to how narrative RPGs are, the genre pioneered by Big bad Wolf and The council, the game introduces a variety of gameplay mechanics.
In Vampire The Masquerade Swansong, you take control of 3 vampires that belong to different clans of the Camarilla, the secret society where vampires belong from. Each of these three heroes has a character sheet that you can fully customize. Whether you want to develop your technology skills to hack computers and locks, or you want to be an expert in persuasion and speech to dominate others, the choices are yours to make.
For example, Leysha can Obfuscate to conceal her presence, Emem uses Celerity to reach otherwise inaccessible locations and Galeb makes others his puppet using Domination.
A Vampire runs on blood as its main source of food as this is the price a vampire carries by using its powers. If any one of your heroes runs low on blood, their inner beast will take over, directly affecting your possible actions. This can be prevented by prey on one of the humans and feed on their blood. This will require stealth and be out of sight.
