Playground Games has revealed the new cars it is bringing in the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 Series 36 update. There are three new cars planned for the Series 36 update and two of them are classic Mazdas and one of them is a forgotten Saleen supercar. The Series 36 will bring tons of new events and activities for you to complete in the game as well however the main showstoppers have always been the cars in the new updates.

Series 36 is adding three new cars starting later this week out of which 2 are Mazdas and 1 is Saleen. The two Mazdas in the new update include the 1972 Mazda Cosmos and the 1973 Mazda RX-3. The 1973 Mazda Cosmos is the final production version of the Cosmos which started its journey in 1967 as a ‘halo car’. Halo Cars are the cars that pioneer new technologies for use in future car development. This car introduced the rotary to the world which the 1973 RX-7 perfected.

The 1973 Mazda RX-3 was the first vehicle that Mazda developed after using the Cosmos to research its rotary technology. Mazda RX-3 came in two variants, the piston engine variant was called ‘Grand Familia’ while the name ‘RX-3’ was exclusive for the variants using the rotary engine. The Mazda RX-3 had a huge success on the track because of its smaller engine and high HP output and this made the RX-3 a true icon of its time.

The final car coming in the Forza Horizon 4 Series 36 update is the 2018 Saleen S1 which is a mid-engine supercar. It features a 2.3L four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The S1 has been developed completely by Saleen and everything that went into the car has been done by Saleen themselves. However, the styling is somewhat based on the now-defunct Artega GT. All three of these cars will arrive in Forza Horizon 4 in Series 36 which will start this Thursday.
