Dying Light 2 Fast Travel Guide – How to Fast Travel, Metro Stations

Dying Light 2 Fast Travel Guide

Dying Light 2 features a huge world in which you must parkour and move around while making sure that you are always never on the ground. While the world is really big and your movement is pretty fluid, there will be certain instances where you will need to get to somewhere really quickly and safely as well because as you move around the huge map, chances are that you will always run into the undead. For this purpose, this Dying Light 2 Fast Travel Guide will help you on how you can unlock and use the fast travel mechanic in the game.

Fast Travel Guide – Dying Light 2

Fast Travel is not as simple as you would expect like unlocking a safe location and then simply jumping to that location later in the game. Dying Light 2 offers fast travel much later in the game and you have to solve certain puzzles as well before using the mechanic in the game. In Dying Light 2, you must travel using the Metro Stations littered all around the map. To unlock your very first Metro Station, you must play through enough of the main story of the title.

It is pretty far into the main story of the title so there is no other walkaround to this. Once you reach Central Loop, you will gain access to the Metro Stations, and you will be able to use them to fast travel around the map. However, simply visiting a Metro Station is not good enough for unlocking it. You have to get inside the Metro Station and restore power to it before it gets added to your minimap. Their icon is a train on the map.

The very first mission you get is actually a tutorial for you on how you can unlock additional fast travel points throughout the game. Each of these metro stations has zombies or renegades in them so you have to clear them out of all the enemies. Once, the enemies are out, you can start with the first power box in the metro station which will unlock the rest of the area for you. You can then go down into the station and continue to switch the remaining boxes on without touching the ground.

Complete the mini-game and you will add a new fast travel point. All metro stations work in a similar fashion. Fast travel in the game does not consume your in-game time so it is instant and you can use the feature anytime after you unlock additional metro stations in the game.
