Snake Eye and Storm Shadow from G.I. JOE Joining Brawlhalla in Latest Crossover

Ubisoft has announced a new collaboration with Hasbro Inc. to bring Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow from GI JOE to its free-to-play brawler Brawlhalla. The new characters will arrive in Brawlhalla on February 23, 2021, and it will kick off an in-game event, which will feature a new Showdown game mode called Arashikage Dojo which will also feature in the Brawl of the Week.

The new game mode Arashikage Dojo is a four-player free-for-all skirmish where players will be faced with traps that can make or break the match. The player in the new Arashikage Dojo with the highest score in three minutes wins, so using the traps and pressure plates to their advantage is key. Along with the new game mode, map and characters, the new crossover will also bring other G.I. JOE-themed in-game items which will be revealed next week before the launch of the event.

Brawlhalla is Ubisoft’s answer to Super Smash Bros. however it is a free-to-play title and is ever-evolving with new Legends and Crossover events. The latest Legends to join Brawlhalla include Munin, Reno the Bounty Hunter, and Magyar. Previous crossovers include franchises such as Kung Fu Panda, The Walking Dead, Ben 10, and Tomb Raider. Brawlhalla follows the same brawler formula where you and four other Legends fight for the last person standing in a variety of modes.

Brawlhalla is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC along with Mac, iOS, and Android devices. The game offers custom games and the ability to queue together for online matchmaking. Ubisoft will reveal additional details about the new G.I. JOE collaboration in the upcoming days.
