Ubisoft+ Indie Games

Ubisoft has announced that it is bringing new indie games to its premium Ubisoft+ subscription service. The addition of indie games to Ubisoft+ started this summer when the publisher added The Last Friend, an arcade game developed by The Stonebot Studio, and A Normal Lost Phone, an interactive fiction game developed by Accidental Queens. However, now, Ubisoft is adding four new indie games to its Ubisoft+ subscription increasing the total number of indie titles available on the service.

The new indie titles coming to Ubisoft+ include Nyamyam’s Astrologaster, Maitan69’s Evan’s Remains, 6 Eyes Studio’s Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark, and Gamious’ Lake. Ubisoft has also announced that not only additional indie games will find a home on the Ubisoft+ subscription service but they will also be available for purchase through the store in the future. Alexia Brumé, Director of Branding and Content at Ubisoft commented:

It’s a new chapter in the Ubisoft+ adventure. We have always strived to offer the best games for all playstyles, and we’re reflecting that commitment in the selection of our partners. We’re excited to shine a light on some stellar indie games, from narrative adventures like Lake and Astrologaster to a mystery thriller puzzle game with Evan’s Remains, to a turn-based RPG with Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark.

Ubisoft details that the latest announcement reflects Ubisoft’s ambition to diversify its catalog by welcoming additional partners and it marks a new step in Ubisoft’s long-lasting commitment to the indie ecosystem. Ubisoft is aiming to bring forward quality, knowledge, and experience and build together the future of the industry through global and local initiatives supporting innovation in gameplay, game design, and technology along with mentoring and funding creative startups.

If you are interested in Ubisoft+, it is currently available on PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. Ubisoft is also aiming to launch its premium service on PlayStation and Xbox in the near future. Ubisoft+ currently features more than 100 Ubisoft games, and the latest Ubisoft titles such as Skull and Bones will release on the service on day one as well. Apart from normal editions, the service also includes premium editions and classic games, additional content packs, and rewards to unlock with in-game progression.

To bring more players to the service, Ubisoft is currently offering Ubisoft+ Multi-Access which includes PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna as part of a limited-time free trial. This is only valid until October 10, 2022, so if you want to avail this offer, you only have until the start of the next month.
